Lovely Korean/French bakery near the corner of Golf and Roselle roads.
Great selection of baked goods all individually wrapped. Each item has a label with the ingredients listed.
"Ok, but first coffee" is written above the kitchen door. This advertises their large coffee and tea menu. Also serving boba and smoothies.
Don't forget to try their Bingsoo! These frozen desserts are big enough to share with two or more people. Think Hawaiian shaved ice with ice cream, syrup, and fruit on top. Delicious!
Employees are kind and helpful when trying to decide what to buy or try.
Plenty of tables and chairs/booths in the dining area. Two areas: one near the front windows; another along the side wall. The music is loud enough to be heard, but not obnoxious that you can't talk to each other while lingering over your goodies.
Come for the interesting looking Cloud Latte. Stay for the Bingsoo. -

This bakery has a nice corner location with an even nicer interior. It felt cozy and welcoming.
I like that the bakery items are laid out on a counter, individually wrapped, and you can simply choose what you want. Nice wrapping, too. Good variety of bakery items, and reasonably priced. Good selection of drinks too, including coffee-based, smoothies, and boba.
I was a bit disappointed in the boba because there wasn't much tapioca and it was apparently undercooked. It was much more al dente than Joy Yee Naperville.
For the pastries, the chocolate shell one has a custard filling but it tastes like Hunt's pudding, not like homemade. The Nutella pastry is good, but doesn't really taste like Nutella.
I did also want to comment on service. The lady was friendly, but she was managing the storefront on her own and had to ring up customers, take calls, get orders from the kitchen, etc. A young man fell because his chair broke, and the worker only looked over while other customers checked on him. I can't really blame her because the place was understaffed.
All in all, I would say the food & drink look better than they taste. Not bad, but certainly not exceptional. -

What's better than coffee and a pastry after a rainy Monday? Nothing. One of the many stores inside of the Shops at Copley Center, you'll find a nice coffee shop inside. With not that many people inside the bakery, it's a great place to get some coffee and get work done. Most of the customers there were working diligently on their laptops during my time there which gave me plenty of time to go over the items they had on display.
Once you grab a parchment paper lined tray, you walk around the different displays they have and choose what you like. Some of the items I saw were various croissants, castella, large cookies and Pain Au Chocolat to name a few.
They have quite the variety of drinks and you can take a look at some of their creative drinks on Instagram (@handsomebakery). I went with an iced coffee with tapioca pearls on the bottom. Their house special coffee was good but it does come with cream and sugar; if you want something other than the standard, I'd inquire during your initial order. I remember the coffee-bubbles I've tried in Korea Town in NYC and they had pears in their coffee! I decided to try it again here and the employee behind the counter was great about it! If you come later in the day as I did, some of their items are sparse compared to I'm sure in the morning when everything is fresh. Since it's close to the apartment, I can't wait to make my next trip there to try their extensive menu. -

This place is such a great cafe! It's got a sweet bakery that has a variety of baked goodies or cakes to choose from. Their drinks also range from milk tea, boba tea, coffee, and espresso drinks. It's a perfect spot to come and do work or catch up with friends. I wish I was able to stay longer and try their bingsoo because it looks delicious, but next time I'll be back to do so!

My mother in law brought me sweet breads from this bakery and a plastic piece came out from cream cheese muffin. Muffin itself it tasted really good but plastic piece really disappointed me. Hope the store pay more attention and don't make this kind of mistake when baking.
